Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy. It implies a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. The goal of CBT is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people's difficulties, which will change the way they feel. It is used to treat a wide range of issues, including sleep difficulties, relationship problems, anxiety, anger, low-mood, depression, self-confidence issues etc. CBT works by changing people's attitudes and behavior by focusing on the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behavior that are held, and how these processes relate to the behavior of the person, as a means of dealing with emotional problems. An important advantage of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is that it tends to be short, usually 5-10 months for most emotional problems.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a research-based form of psychotherapy that enables individuals to heal and recover from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the results of disturbing life experiences. Repeated studies have shown that by utilizing EMDR therapy, people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is often assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long duration to heal. However, EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma just as the body recovers from physical traumas.such It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. There has been numerous research on EMDR therapy that it is now recognized as an effective form of treatment for trauma and other disturbing experiences organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, the World Health Organization, and the Department of Defence.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a counselling method that helps people to resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities. It facilitates them to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior. It is a practical, empathetic, and short-term approach that takes into consideration on how difficult it is to make life changes. Motivational Interviewing helps people become motivated to change the behavior that are preventing them from making healthier choices. It can also prepare individuals for further, more specific types of therapies. Research has shown that this intervention works well with people who are initially unmotivated or unprepared for change. Motivational Interviewing is also suitable for individuals who are angry, anxious, or depressive. They may not be ready to commit to change, but Motivational Interviewing can help them to move through the emotional stages of change that is necessary to find their motivation.

Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals to thrive. It focuses on individual strengths, well-being, and optimal functioning. Positive Psychology considers how people can flourish under relatively normal conditions and how to promote lives that are meaningful, fulfilling, and worth living instead of the traditional Psychology approach that focuses on alleviating the suffering of an individual. Positive Psychology is based on the belief that people want to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, to cultivate their potentials and best within them, and to enhance their experiences of happiness, enjoyment, fulfilling relationships, and leisure.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT)

Solution-Focused Therapy, also known as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), is future focused, goal directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than on the problems that brought clients to seek therapy. SFBT is described as a practical, goal-driven model with its emphasis on concise, clear, realistic goal negotiations. The SFBT approach assumes that all client has some knowledge of what would make their life better. even though they may need some (at times, considerable) help describing the details of their better life and that everyone who seeks help already possesses some skills necessary to create solutions.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a therapeutic tool that can provide remarkable results for physical, emotional, and performance issues. EFT works on the basis that no matter what part of your life needs improvement, there are unresolved emotional issues in the way. Even for physical issues, chronic pain, or diagnosed conditions, it is assumed that any kind of emotional stress can obstruct the natural healing potential of the human body. For long lasting results with EFT, we have to identify and target related emotional issues for any physical symptoms relief.
